Manchester United and the Voodoo Tactics



When Manchester United crashed out of the Carabao Cup against 4th-tier Grimsby, it felt less like football and more like voodoo magic gone wrong.

In my latest cartoon, I imagined Ruben Amorim using voodoo dolls of his own players:

  • Onana covering his own eyes instead of the goal.

  • Mbeumo blasting a penalty into the sky.

  • Dalot tangled up and lost.

And just when it couldn’t get worse, a fisherman from Grimsby shows up and nets Amorim himself.

Sometimes, United don’t need opponents — they defeat themselves.

Jurgen Klopp's farewell tour is threatening to turn into a nightmare



Following Jurgen Klopp's declaration of his departure from Liverpool at the season's close, the club's ambiance shifted towards aspirations of clinching the quadruple - comprising The Premier League, the Europa League, the FA Cup, and the League Cup. Yet, is there a possibility that these aspirations might dissipate by the season's end?

His signings Lisandro Martínez, Casemiro and Wout Weghorst alongside with Marcus Rashford won the League Cup against Newcastle.

Harry Kane and the Premier League 200 goals


Harry Kane failed to win a trophy with Tottenham. He lost the Premier League to Jamie Vardy and Leicester City, lost the Champions League to Mo Salah and Liverpool and lost the League Cup to Kevin De Bruyne and Manchester City. But as an individual effort now he has 200 Premier League goals and in the third place of all time best scorer in the league after Alan Shearer and Wayne Rooney.
