Johnathan Thurston


2015 will long remembered as this guy's year.
His field-goal won the North Queensland Cowboys their first ever NRL title. He lifted the Daily M medal for a fourth time, and was part of another Queensland State of Origin triumph.

Cathy Freeman


The only person to light the flame and win a gold medal at the same Olympics, a feat that this legend achieved at Sydney 2000.
The nation stopped for her 400 m triumph, a result which give this golden girl the perfect comeback after winning a silver medal in Atalanta four years earlier.

Greg Norman

He won golf's British Open twice in 1986 and 1993. Could have many added to the list.
Runner-up at the Masters three times, US Open twice, and PGA Championship twice.

Don Bradman


Australia greatest cricketer, with numbers that will never be matched. A Test average of 99.94 and a highest test score of 334. Not bad!!

Shane Warne

He may have polarized the sporting public, but there's no denying this superstar a place on this list.
Over 1000 international wickets, 708 at Test level, and a true Australian larrikin.

Adam Goodes

A dual-Brownlow Medal winner, with two Premierships to his names at the Sydney Swans.
For All-Australian nominations and an AFL Rising Star Award. This guy's done everything possible in the game.


Ian Thorpe


A five-time Olympic gold medalist, the most by any Australian athlete.
Throw in 10 Commonwealth Games golds, multiple World Championships and World record, and you can how he made the list with ease. 

John Eales

One of the Wallabies' most inspirational captains, he raised the William Webb Ellis Cup in 1999, and who can forget his last-gasp penalty goal to sink the All Blacks in Dunedin?

Tim Cahill

The greatest Socerroo of all time? He's scored goals at the 2006, 2010 and 2014 World Cup.
