"Since I was two or three years old, I remember always being with a ball. Football was always my dream. I started playing properly aged five & I'm still playing now."
At 15, Mane travelled to the capital of Senegal for a trial, wearing old, torn football boots.
"When I got on the pitch, you could see the surprise on [the coach's] face. After, he came to me and said ‘I’m picking you straight away'."
