England and the World Cups misery

After their 1966 victory, the World Cup moments for the Three Lions have consistently carried a sense of sorrow. Memories include Rooney's robust tackle on Carvalho in 2006, Lampard's disallowed goal against Germany in 2010, and for the Lionesses, recollections of their defeat against Japan in 2015, Alex Morgan's tea celebration in 2018, and most recently, their 2023 final loss to Spain.

The Women’s World Cup 2023

In 2019, the USA won the trophy, and players from other countries watched on a big TV screen. While celebrating, Alex Morgan sipped tea, annoying the England players. Then, a hilarious montage began with players getting ready to snatch the World Cup from the USA. Days on the calendar were crossed off as the tournament approached. Toone placed the Euros trophy on a shelf, and Russo added the Finalissima trophy. They left an empty space labeled 'world cup.' Hegerberg did kick-ups with the Ballon d'Or trophy, but Putellas showed off with two Ballon d'Ors, leaving Hegerberg unimpressed. Kerr practiced her backflip celebration in the gym, nailing a goal and backflipping as the ball returned to her. Marta looked through a photo album with a 🐐 on the cover, reminiscing about her five previous World Cups. Renard practiced epic headers that sent balls flying far away, while Oberdorf broke training dummies with her fierce slide tackles. Oshoala scored goals so powerful they shattered the net. Finally, all the players arrived on the pitch, and the USA team stood proudly with the trophy, teasing the others to come and try to take it. The stage was set for an epic showdown! 🏆😄
