Bayer Leverkusen’s Lion Left Behind

This season was unforgettable for Bayer Leverkusen. Winning the Bundesliga and the German Cup without losing a single league match was a fairytale for the club and its fans. The players celebrated like heroes, and Brian the Lion, the club’s beloved mascot, danced proudly with them.

But football is cruel sometimes. One by one, the stars of this historic team changed their shirts and left for new adventures. The joy turned into sadness as Brian was left all alone on the dance floor.

In my latest cartoon, I wanted to capture that bittersweet moment. It’s funny, emotional, and a reminder that while players may come and go, the spirit of the club – and Brian the Lion – always stays. 🦁❤️

Liverpool Fans Shocked as Szoboszlai Rockets Past Arsenal… While Man City Stumble Again

Last night at Anfield was pure drama and redemption. The Kop walked in quietly, feeling the absence of Trent Alexander‑Arnold, their creative engine and dead-ball genius. But football has a funny way of surprising us — and it was Dominik Szoboszlai who became the hero, unleashing a thunderous strike that made Anfield erupt and erased any notion that “No Trent, No Problem” was just a gimmick.

Meanwhile, up on England’s southern coast, a different kind of shock was unfolding. Manchester City, fresh off a tentative start to the Premier League season, looked set to claim another three points after Erling Haaland gave them the lead in the first half. But Brighton had other ideas — veteran James Milner equalized from the spot, and 21-year-old Brajan Gruda sealed a stunning 2‑1 win with a last‑gasp finish. It’s not every day you see City fold in the final minute, especially under Pep Guardiola.

That result wasn't just another loss — it’s City’s second consecutive defeat, and it shoved them into the bottom half of the table with just three points from three games

Fenerbahçe Sack Mourinho – Even the Canary Had Enough

José Mourinho’s time at Fenerbahçe has come to an early end after the club failed to qualify for the Champions League. The “Special One” arrived in Turkey with big expectations, but the dream quickly turned into disappointment.

For Fenerbahçe fans, the decision feels heavy, but also inevitable. Even the club’s famous yellow canary could no longer handle the frustration.

Now, the question is simple: what’s next for Mourinho? Will he return to the Premier League, where the lion roars the loudest? Or will he find a new adventure elsewhere?

One thing is certain: with Mourinho, the story never ends quietly.

Manchester United and the Voodoo Tactics

When Manchester United crashed out of the Carabao Cup against 4th-tier Grimsby, it felt less like football and more like voodoo magic gone wrong.

In my latest cartoon, I imagined Ruben Amorim using voodoo dolls of his own players:

  • Onana covering his own eyes instead of the goal.

  • Mbeumo blasting a penalty into the sky.

  • Dalot tangled up and lost.

And just when it couldn’t get worse, a fisherman from Grimsby shows up and nets Amorim himself.

Sometimes, United don’t need opponents — they defeat themselves.
